|On Friday, July 18, 2008 Amy and Steve were married in Milwaukee at the beautiful South Shore Park Pavilion.
Amy and Daniel have known each other for years and still keep in touch even though she's moved to California. Although it
was a bit warm at times, it was certainly a very joyful and beautiful wedding - enjoy the photos!
Daniel spent a very long time preparing, and 12 hours that day setting up the beautiful space with
various flowers, linens, and candles galore
Candles along the runner...pretty, but dangerous?
Daniel even set up a little seating area to the back corner of the pavilion - what a pretty photo there in the background...I wonder
where he got that or who took it?
Children have no built-in programming on how to be flower girls or ring bearers...
Trying to impart such wisdom during the ceremony is usually very cute and entertaining...but not effective...
Brides on the other hand know quite well how to find the front of the room!
Of course, we can't be perfect and Amy did mis-place the ring - luckily half the brides maids rushed to the back and emptied her purse
in a back room in search of it and found it in no time
And voila that's it - Amy and Steve are married!
This expression is the usual one on Amy's face - she's always so HAPPY!
Everyone in the wedding party was cheerful just after the ceremony
Down to the Milwaukee Lakefront/Lake Michigan for photos afterwards
Our good friend Jamie was one of the Matrons of Honor
After the wedding is over Daniel switches to become my assistant - here he holds a lens as his own bouquet

The pavilion later in the night (many people talked outside to escape the heat!)
Eventually there was dancing...
